Camping

We backpacked up to the backside of Snowbird. It was such a pretty day. This is a photo looking down into Mineral Basin. We swam in the lake, then bundled up because it got really cold.

We were lucky enough to have a full moon that night. You can't really tell, but it was really bright. Special thanks to Toast for being in our pic.

AF Canyon

I've been dying to start climbing again. Thankfully, Heather and Austin bought new gear so now I don't have too :) We went up to AF canyon and Heather and I put our lurpy arms to good use. It was the perfect day to go out; cloudy and warm.

Moab Trip

We went to Moab with Brooke and Jed. They were so much fun to go on a trip with! I don't know what was better.....Moab Diner strawberry shakes, or running the trails. At night we went swimming, played horseshoes, and played any games that we could think of from slumberparties when we were young. Brooke won for the best game "Who-arted" (or something like that. I was laughing too hard to even remember).

Pittsburg

We went backpacking to one of my favorite spots over the 4th. We left in a hurry, so I didn't get to borrow Myken's backpack as I normally would. Instead, I was lucky enough to use one of Steve-o and Sherry's from 1970 (give or take abouple of years). I don't know why they didn't believe in padding back then, but they settled for mesh+very pokey wires. We had such a great time and we had the whole lake to ourselves.

Nate got just what he wanted for his birthday. We went out to Grassvalley, California and picked this up for him. We've taken it out a lot this summer. I'll post those pics later. We now officially fit in in Lehi.

Nate vs. Johnny

Nate has been growing his hair out for the past couple of years while he's been in school. Now that he has to grow up and get a real job, it's gotta go. I thought I'd post a pic before he cuts it:( I'm bummed because he finally looks like Johnny Depp from 'Blow', and he can officially rock the ponytail. So hot.
